About Your Appointment
Postdoctoral appointees at the School of Medicine fall into one of two classifications:
- Postdoctoral Research Scholars, who are non-employed stipend recipients
- Postdoctoral Research Associates, who are employees and receive wages

Orientation for new postdoctoral appointees occurs on a monthly basis. You will be scheduled for the next available session by your department or program.
