As a postdoctoral appointee, you are contributing not only to the research here at the School of Medicine, but also to biomedical advances that will improve lives and human health around the world.

About Your Appointment
Postdoctoral appointees at the School of Medicine fall into one of two classifications:

  • Postdoctoral Research Scholars, who are non-employed stipend recipients
  • Postdoctoral Research Associates, who are employees and receive wages

Orientation for new postdoctoral appointees occurs on a monthly basis. You will be scheduled for the next available session by your department or program.
